Short Bio

Prof. Chongsheng Zhang is a Professor at the School of Computer and Information Engineering, Henan University. His research interests span Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, OCR, and AI-empowered Ancient Manuscripts Understanding.

His recent work focuses on long-tailed and imbalance learning, scene text detection and recognition, and AI-driven historical manuscripts and documents understanding. His publications have appeared in ACM SIGKDD, AAAI, ACL, EMNLP, IEEE TMM, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE T-ITS, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TAI, Pattern Recognition, Information Sciences, IEEE ICDM, BMVC, ICDAR, and other leading venues.
